Riley participated in the Music Authority's springtime recital today at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center doing her rendition of "
I enjoy being a girl (video)". She was a little nervous because a month ago, she sang an excerpt from the song in an audition for a play and forgot a couple of the lines. I tried to reassure her that she only 'messed up' then because she had just learned the song and that today she would do fine. I am proud to say that she did!
