He 'gets' it...

One of our favorite local performs is Joe Reilly.   Why?   I dunno exactly... I think that it is a combination of his nature themed music and and aura of spiritualism & humility that he has had with him each time we have heard or talked with him.   Maybe it would be best summed up by saying that he 'gets it'.    Anyway, when I heard that he was gonna be having a concert at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens, I knew that although we would be a little late, we would have to make sure that we got there to hear him.  We rushed from an egg hunt in Monroe to Ann Arbor, and were not disapointed at all.

Joe equally entertain both us young kids and those old parents that were there too with some songs off of his Children of the Earth CD, and songs from his soon to be released CD -- "Let's Go Outside".   Kennedy requested the girls' favorite -- Robot song which he not only played, but after the show, when we talked with him and he posed for a picture with the girls, he even thanked her for requesting it.   There is just that kind of humility about him -- he gets it.
