The girls and I went to Rockwood for their annual Memorial day parade. It was the first time that we had been to it, and although it wasn't as large as some other parades, it was still fun, and we had a good time. Sadly though, there didn't seem to be as much recognition for veterans or active soldiers. I think that there was maybe five of them in total. Makes me worry that people will forget what we are celebrating that day, and instead just view it as the kick off of summer.
Afterwards, we went to a nearby park, played at the playscape, and had lunch before an approaching storm chased us towards home.
