Cold and blustery geocaching

Two days ago it was 80 degrees and sunny....and we spent the majority of the day inside with work, school dance and gymnastics. Today it struggled to get into the mid 40s, threatened rain all day, and was very windy, and we spent it...well, playing at the park and geocaching of course.

After the girls theater workshops, the girls and I met up with Kris, Christoper and Gene at Unity park in Carleton. The kids (and Tessa) played on the playscape and Kris and I talked, did some maintenance to our geocache, and checked out the purple martins that seemed to be everywhere.

With the last light of the day closing, we went to look for the Ashes2Ashes geocache that is located in the park, which was very easy to find because it was left in the open. The kids traded trinkets and then we headed back to the warmth of the cars.

Good time, but boy do I want that 80 degree weather back!
