was our first visit to the village at at Christmas time, and we had a great time. The village was ablaze in lights and seasonal decorations, there was a reindeer for the girls to take a picture with, crafts, a Christmas Carol show in the opera house, and of course Santa.
I should have known that Santa might have had a little too much spiked eggnog when Kennedy's friend Alexis asked for an American Girl doll and Santa told her that he didn't have any left. However, I was not prepared when Riley approached him and he said that she was too old for Santa. I don't know who was crushed more...Riley or me, as I was gonna give him my Christmas list next!
The rest of the visit there was enjoyable but it got so cold, that we had to leave early. By the time we were headed home, the thermometer in the car read 8 degrees!
I think we will add this to our list of holiday traditions, but I think we will skip the visit with Santa!
