We went to Santa's Magic Forest at Heritage Park in Taylor yesterday. Kennedy wasn't feeling so well, so while I think she enjoyed it, she didn't quite seem herself. She was in fine form however when telling Santa what she hoped for. Lately she has done a fine redention of Ralphie's visit with Santa in A Christmas Story, and with unconscious will her voice squeaks out something, but not yesterday! Santa knows with certainty that she would like a Liv doll, stickers, and makeup. Taking pictures of Santa was prohibited, the professional photographer that they have there did a great job, and at $7.00, its still reasonable. I'm pretty sure that the proceeds went to a charitable cause too.
I'll always unconsciously compare Christmas displays with Fantasyland -- its just a side effect of going there since I was a child. Still, we really enjoyed it and I am sure that we will add this to our list of holiday traditions.
