"Christmas Tales" - Dickens-style evening of storytelling

A new holiday event for us this year was visiting the Trenton Cultural Center for their Christmas Tales program. Being a history fanatic, I could have spent the entire evening just enjoying the great 100+ year old house. The girls however don't quite have the same enthusiasm, but cookies, hot chocolate, Santa, 38 decorated Christmas trees, and holiday stories read by local actor Scott Leake convinced them that we should stay - lol. What a great program! We closed the evening with a visit to their general store where we found the finishing touches for our Christmas tree. I sure hope that this becomes an annual event there!
