In what is becoming an annual tradition for us, the girls and I spent a seasonal Saturday at Cranbrook. I remember when dad would take us kids, and though the program and museum are vastly different, I'm pretty sure that I enjoyed it has as much as I did way back then.
We rushed to get there for the Christmas lights program, and at times, I was sure that we wouldn't make it in time to see the show. But the girls rushed to the counter, got the tickets, then sprinted to the observatory. After the show, we spent the next several hours checking out the museum displays, and having lunch in their fantastic Reflections Cafe'. I sure wish the we lived closer to the museum as we would go much more often.
