To me, one of the most important part of scouting is giving back to the community through community service projects. Today, the girls' scout troop participated in annual Make a Senior Smile Day, by raking leaves for seniors in the neighborhood. Although Kennedy and Riley were not able to stay long due to parade practice, I was happy that they got to participate for a little while. Giving back to the community and making memories with their friends -- isn't that what scouting is all about?
