Today, (Sunday, October 3rd), the girls and I spent the day at Farmer Charley's corn maze with Aunt Krissy and the boys. The day was cool and blustery but after spending most of Saturday inside because of the rain....and wanting to take advantage of every fall weekend, we decided to venture out in search of some new fun and adventures.
The farm offers a lot of "old fashioned fun" (pig races, hay ride, pumpkin patch, etc), but I think that their favorite were the rolling tubes and the barrel train ride. My favorite was the pumpkin cannons (see video) and the corn mazes -- one of which we returned to do with flashlights at night.
We had so much fun that I am pretty sure that this will become an annual autumn event for us.
