How do you wrap up an 87 degree humid day filled with work, the Maybee day celebration, & geocache maintenance? You get into the car and head to Flat Rock's fountain park to cool off by splashing in the .....err.... well... that is what you do if the fountain is working. Okay... plan B... ice cream!
After a busy and very hot & humid day, the girls and I stopped by Dairy Queen and got their Triple Chocolate Utopia and headed over to Huroc Park to enjoy the ice cream and play for a while. As we headed into the park, we bumped into the girls' preschool teacher Mrs. B. We chatted for a while and she told us of a preschool reunion that she is planning for the late summer. The girls are already looking forward to it!
Its been a while since we have been to that park, and I had sort of forgotten that while the park may be great for a romantic evening walk, the play equipment is a bit sparse. But... if you have some monkey bars and a slide... oh... and 76 grams of sugar from your ice cream.. even dad can have a good time there.
