We closed a very busy day with a murder mystery at Oakwoods Nature Center tonight. One of the residents of the park had been murdered and as part of the CSI: Oakwoods Nature Investigation Unit, it was our job to investigate and identify who the perpetrator was by listening to the case history from park interpreter Patrick and looking at clues out on the trails. It was a program that we had never been to before and we enjoyed it.
I was especially happy to see our friends Dawn & Ryan and their children attend, as well as Stan and Ruth too. As we walked along the trails, Stan and I had a nice conversation about geocaching, and he gave us a few of their new pathtags too.
The lateness of the evening didn't permit us to take Dawn and family out geocaching. We will have to save that for another of the summer weekends.
