Prowler in the yard

Yesterday afternoon the girls were out playing in the snow and building a snowman, and Tessa kept barking and growling at the neighbor who was shoveling his driveway. I'm not sure why, but she sure doesn't seem to care for him much.

Later that evening, I was letting her out and she started barking and growling intently again. I thought it was strange that he was outside still, but we did get significant snow, so I didn't think twice about it. About 10:00 pm, again she did the same thing. I glance outside, but didn't see him (or anyone else) out there. Puzzled, I called her in, but kept looking outside for signs of anyone. When she did the exact same thing at midnight, my slight concern turned to worry so I got dressed and went outside to figure out who she was barking so fiercely at. I found nothing...at all...not even footprints in the snow. She growled all the way into the house though and kept staring out into the yard.

Morning came and as we walked to the car, she again started her fierce growling and barking, and I noticed that she was even walking backwards as she went to the car all the while not taking her eyes off of.....the snowman!
