When Riley whispered that to me during the break in this week's workshop, a concern of mine reared its head. A big part of me has been worrying if maybe Riley is trying to be TOO involved in extracurricular activities -- four dance classes, a school musical, girl scouts, and the DYPAC's introduction to theater workshop -- it just seems like a lot to me. I told her that if it had reached the point where it wasn't fun, then it was time to stop, but she said that she wanted to finish what she started, and an hour later, she was asking if it might be okay to ask a friend to join the spring workshop with her!
I love her 'can do' attitude and determination!
