With summer running out, the girls and I went to Wilson Park in Milan to see the movie Alice in Wonderland at the park. After watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I really didn't know what to expect from Johnny Depp, but I have to say, that I thought he was magnificent as the Mad Hatter. Even Kennedy, who has never been a fan of any version of the story, sat and watched it completely engrossed. I wish that we had been able to see make it to the other shows there this summer, but with gymnastics the same night, it was just impossible.
My favorite quote in the Lewis Carroll story is "Tut, tut, child! Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it.", and I listened intently for it all through the show, but never heard it. I hope that it was just a case of me missing it and not them cutting one of the best parts of the story out.
