The girls, their cousins, and a bunch of their friends and I wrapped up the weekend by heading to the Ford Wyoming drive-in to see Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. While the movie very well could be one of the worst that I have ever seen, the kids all seemed to enjoy it. Some of my fondest childhood memories were of us going to the drive-in, and even all these years later, any evening at the drive-in is great...even if it does include a bad movie.
One of my summer goals was to visit all of the remaining drive-ins in Michigan, and with only eight of them left, it seemed like we surely could do it, but with this being the first that we visited, and with summer early over, it looks unlikely that we will make it. Oh well, it will give us something else to add to next summer's calendar.
