The girls and I attended the annual Naturefest at Crosswind's marsh. Sadly it seems like the economy is impacting events such as this because it seemed scaled down compared to last year. Nevertheless, it was still some time outdoors and a lot of fun.
The girls enjoyed the crafts and climbing the rock wall. I spent a while talking with a guy from the Ford Amateur Astronomy Club, and was able to catch a glimpse of the sun through his solar filtered telescope. We ended the day with a long hike around the park, a little geocaching, and checking out the nearby beaver dam.
