With only one week to go, the girls spring workshops at Dypac are winding down, and while the girls seem to know their lines and lyrics pretty well, they keep changing the emphasis on the tones and words in an attempt to make them just right. I am confident that they know the lyrics to the songs -- we have listened to them so much that even at work I find them stuck in my head.
I am still awed by the complexity of the dances, and how they make it look so easy. Riley has four dance classes at Dance Express, and they are each 30 weeks long. that is thirty weeks to learn the dance moves to four songs. In the workshop, they are learning the dance steps AND lyrics to four songs in just six weeks. It just amazes me that they can do it so well.
