The girls, their cousins, and I went to Oakwoods for a ride on their 34 foot Voyager canoe. It is one of the programs that we try to do at the nature center as it gets us to areas of the park that we just can't reach on a regular basis. In fact, with a full canoe, there was enough people to paddle all the way up to the 'Middlebelt Bayou' -- I had not been there since I was a teen.
The sun was intense off of the water (Riley got sunburned pretty bad), and it was very warm, but we still had a good time.
